Based in North Yorkshire ( office location in Harrogate / Knaresborough considered) we have a fantastic new position for a Head of Finance, within a privately owned business.
Offering end-to-end sourcing, manufacturing and brand distribution this is an opportunity for an experienced accountant to be the UK's point of contact, reporting on all UK activity to a Global CFO.

**Your role**
This is a stand alone role in the UK which will oversee:

- Monthly Management Accounts production
- Bank Reconciliations, PL and SL functions
- Preparing budgets and Year end functions
- Company secretarial duties
- First point of contact with bank, auditors and insurers
- Sales reporting and variance analysis
- Oversee payroll function
- VAT and EC Sales list
- Stock control
You will ideally come from a SME owner managed environment and have experience dealing with multi-currency bank accounts and ledgers and experience of foreign currency hedging.
Experience of import/export would also be advantageous.
We are open to both qualified accountants and those qualified by experience with the above skill set.
