Kent Community Health Foundation Trust Community Learning Disability Service provides a multi
- disciplinary approach to supporting people with a learning disability to live happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.

We are currently looking for a band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join our local friendly and innovative team in South Kent Coast & Thanet.

The post will involve a range of community, office and home-based working both with people with a learning disability and the people within their circle of support. We are a close and supportive team who work together to aim to deliver excellent outcome-based quality care. We will provide a comprehensive corporate and local induction programme at the commencement of employment.

Kent Community Health Foundation Trust will offer you excellent support, ranging from opportunities for mentoring, coaching and work place buddy as well opportunities for continued professional development.

The post holder will provide speech and language therapy assessment and intervention to adults with a learning disability who are referred to the South Kent Coast and Thanet community Learning Disability team.

As a Speech and Language Therapist within the Learning Disability Team you will be expected to provide evidence-based, autonomous and effective Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention for people who have a learning disability who may also have additional physical and mental health needs.
