My client in **Bournemouth**is looking for an experienced **Band 7 Histology Biomedical Scientist** for a locum contract.

Job Role:

- The main duties of this role will be day to day management of dissection, liaising with other senior staff and clinical members of the team to ensure that requests are met according to agreed policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of quality management is essential to maintain the departments UKAS accreditation.
- Other duties include staff training, mentoring, troubleshooting and dissection

Qualifications and Experience required:

- **HCPC registered as a BMS**:

- At least 2 years post graduate experience
- Considerable experience of dissection and all relevant laboratory procedures
- Participation in Continued Professional Development
- Excellent dissection skills
- Knowledge of common IT and hospital systems
- Highly developed practical and interpretive skills at bench level
- Excellent communication and motivational skills
- Highly skilled in the day-to-day organisation of work area
- Highly skilled in the supervision and training of less qualified staff
- Committed to acquiring new skills in response to a changing work environment
