**About the work**

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious person who is passionate about cutting-edge computer technology, enjoys working and communicating with people, and is keen to ensure that software end-users are happy.

You will:

- contribute to the development of our training courses;
- assist with testing (from an end-user perspective) new software updates and releases;
- gain a solid understanding of how end-users work using our products day-to-day, and you will propose new methods, or help implement methods suggested by others, to ensure that our customers enjoy a high-quality experience and the best customer service.

You will work under the direction of senior staff on our technical support and development teams. You will be given on-the-job training, where required.

**About you (your skills, aptitudes, qualities, qualifications)**

(i) Essential
- Support end-users who experience technical issues, by diagnosing problems, suggesting and implementing fixes, and sharing best practices
- Understand new software quickly, including being able to identify key features, workflows and how to use the software
- Identify and create plans on how to deliver the best support to end-users, and when to re-engage with end-users to ensure that they are satisfied with our products and using them effectively

You must also demonstrate that you are able to meet the following general requirements.
- Self-starting, diligent and enthusiastic. A professional approach to working methodically (both independently and as part of a team) in a timely manner, to the highest standard
- Good knowledge of customer support, with a passion to learn new things and support the professional development of end-users and colleagues, and the growth of the business
- Excellent problem-solving ability. Positive and enthusiastic attitude to technical challenges, and flexibility to cope effectively with changes to specifications or priorities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, and a cooperative attitude
- Eligible to work in the UK

(ii) Optional (but beneficial)
- A degree in a relevant technology field, or relevant technical or customer support experience
- Experience in technical support, software development, data recovery, or digital forensics
- Experience or ability to produce video or text guides for software users

**Other information about the vacancy**
- Flexible-work options_: Negotiable options to work in our offices (in Stafford, UK) or work from home. You may occasionally be required to work away from the office and home; this will include attendance at external events and other engagements with customers.
