The de Ferrers Trust is a mixed multi-academy trust based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. The trust currently consists of seven schools (three secondaries and four primaries). The trust educates approximately 5000 children and young people between the ages of 3 and 19 and employs 700 members of staff.

The de Ferrers Trust are looking to recruit a keen and conscientious Human Resources Apprentice. Located in Burton upon Trent, with over 700 colleagues, this is an excellent opportunity to join the People team. As a HR Apprentice you’ll be exposed to a wide range of opportunities to develop HR generalist experience.

You will be supporting the delivery of first-class HR administration and advisory service to academy colleagues on all areas within an employee life cycle including but not limited to:

- Maintenance of employee database & administration processes
- Management of employee administration related documentation, starters, leavers, contract amendments, benefits, training and recruitment
- Liaison with or escalation within the team, third party suppliers and internal stakeholders.

This Apprenticeship is offered with a view to completing a recognised CIPD Level 3 qualification, within 18 months of starting the course.
