**Job Title: Tutor - Science (GCSE Level)**

**Location**: Tarporley, Cheshire, United Kingdom

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions with students in Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) at the GCSE level.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality sessions in accordance with the AQA Combined Science specifications, catering to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
- Develop customized lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to each student's learning needs, goals, and pace of progress.
- Provide clear explanations of scientific principles, assist with homework assignments, and reinforce key concepts covered in the curriculum.
- Offer guidance and support in exam preparation, including practice tests, revision techniques, and strategies for effective time management.
- Monitor student progress closely, identify areas for improvement, and adapt teaching methods accordingly to maximize learning outcomes.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement, participation, and academic growth.
- Communicate regularly with students and parents to provide feedback on progress, address concerns, and collaborate on strategies for improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Science or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Strong knowledge of GCSE Science curriculum and examination requirements
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience, particularly at the GCSE level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students
- Commitment to student success and academic excellence
