This role has a rotating 40-hour shift pattern, Monday to Friday. Shift hours are either 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm (Monday
- Thursday) and 1pm-9pm (Friday) alternating on a weekly basis.

**A day in the Life**:

- Responsible for Safety, Quality (RFT), Delivery (LOTIF), Cost, and Inventory elements within the team, working closely with the leadership to provision and report out routinely on KPI’s and recovery plans where appropriate
- Supervise day-to-day work plans & resource planning in the department to ensure Stock management Replenishment, Put away, Receipts, Deliveries/Pick Pack demands are met
- Perform daily stock movement/management activities to support the team
- Carry out daily direction/plans for teams by ensuring effective tiered meetings take place, participating and leading Tier 2 & supporting Tier 3 meetings
- Support with conducting performance discussions and assessments, and other employee relations activities including disciplinary investigations, absence reviews, Return To Works, etc
- Lead by example with a safety-first mentality, constantly challenge to improve processes, and support effective change management
- Support and lead the problem-solving of issues using an RCCM approach, in a calm and professional manner, providing clear, concise, and appropriate feedback
- Drive department Gembas, Standard Work, Training, WI’s, and SOP’s to ensure all are current, up to date, and in use, providing a repeatable and stable structure in the warehouse team
- Work closely with Leaders/Supervisors to plan the onboarding and ongoing training of new starters. Agree on training plans for the upskilling of all team members to optimise flexibility, team efficiency, and engagement
- Deputise for the Distribution Team Leader/Supervisor when required to ensure output and performance are sustained
- Expected to sign dangerous goods transportation documents taking legal responsibility for their packaging and presentation to the carrier
- Further duties and responsibilities as required by the business and within the capabilities of the post holder

**Keys to Success**:
**Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience is preferable
- Current vehicle licenses are desirable (Flexi, Stacker, MEWP) but not essential
- Understanding of a Production environment is beneficial

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:

- Good technical knowledge of SAP (or equivalent ERP system) in a Warehouse/Stores environment is required
- Strong organizational skills for coordinating and delivering training at multiple levels
- A calm approach and ability to act decisively when responding to critical operational troubleshooting in a fast-paced technical environment.
- Experience proactively directing a team within an operational Safety, Quality, and Delivery environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills - the ability to lead, engage and support others.
- Hands-on approach and flexible mentality to daily work/responsibilities, ability to mentor and guide others to empower teams and individuals.
- Understanding of the importance of containment, corrective, and preventive actions, employing a data-linformativetual approach to root cause problem solving.
