We are delighted to be working with our client in the NHS who are looking for a RFS Facilitator to join their team in Lincolnshire.
About the role:
The main duty is to receive an electronic referral for a patient, undertake an admin check to ensure all relevant information is present. Schedule the patient for clinical triage and then liaise with the patient by telephone to book them the most appropriateappointment. Specific steps required to undertake that duty are:

- Daily checking of the activity work lists within an electronic Referral Service (eRS) to:

- action any new incoming referrals, checking that the referral letter and other relevant documentation has been attached
- Monitor existing patient's progress through the system
- Produce daily reports for secondary care providers
- Monitor and action any rejected referrals
- Liaising with the provider to investigate reasons for rejections where not known and take appropriate follow-up action as required.
- Contacting the patient if an appointment needs to be rebooked

About you:
You will have a good administrative / customer service background and you will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have great computer and communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues. You will also need to be ableto manage your own daily workload with ability to flex and change between tasks as required.
Extra Information:

- Interviews will be held over Teams or Face to Face
- Temporary position until end of April 2023
- 37.5 hours per week to be worked flexibly within the hours of operation which are: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 8:00pm.
