Responsibilities include delivery of relevant projects on-time, within the budget and meeting the required quality standard.

You will be responsible for making sure eCommerce programmes and projects are effectively resourced and manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including up to Director level.

You will be responsible for managing the work of third party consultants, allocating and utilising resources in an efficient way and maintaining a co-operative, motivated and successful team.

You will take ownership for all inbound and outbound dependencies with other projects and programmes to ensure that complex cross-workstream delivery is successful.

You will also be responsible for defining the strategy and implementing the approach for how the relevant domain (eCommerce) and associated technology stack can be potentially used by other business units, leveraging the existing investment whilst considering operational constraints.

The role plays a key part in the DevOps transition and the role requires an operations and delivery excellence mindset.

Managing and leading the project team:

- Leading the partners and working groups engaged in project work.
- Project governance and manage/ the PMO
- Monitor progress and performance of the team
- Resolve project issues and escalate where necessary.
- Establishing and running programme governance approach and processes
- Actively managing stakeholders across business

Leading cross organizational process/IT change programs from concept to successful end-to-end implementation, incl. stakeholder management and management of external service provider.

Acting as trusted advisor, cross organizational, on middle and senior management level in all matters of process/IT.

Managing, coaching and leading team of direct reports, less experienced colleagues (internal and external) and managing external partners on excellent solutions and delivery.

Developing and managing the project plan and project related activities:

- Translating and scoping the strategic goals of the project into delivery roadmaps that make sense and are achievable
- Defining project structures, work packages and identifying resource and budget needs
- Ensure key milestones and deliverables are implemented in line with the project plan.
- Status reports to the project sponsor and entire team
- Manage scope and change control and deal with escalated issues where necessary.
- Responsible for managing project budget and working with the key stakeholders to track return on investment. This also includes managing financials and budgets to facilitate progress of work (including budget estimates, bottom up resource plans, SoW review and tracking)
- Managing programme level risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies
- Understanding competing priorities across the business and effectively prioritising elements for the project

Broader responsibilities in Digital domain include:

- The role will be closely supported by the relevant Digital Service lead
- The role has responsibility for operational stability of the domain for which they are responsible
- Ensures there is cross-over from AM to AD where needed (maximising resource utilisation)
- The role is responsible for ensuring maximum efficiency of the existing team who focus on AM activities
- The role must ensure effective resource and capacity planning with a delivery and operational (DevOps) related mindset
- The role has a responsibility to manage any code or configuration related changes implemented on environments through to Production
- Assist in incident resolution where required

**What we ask**:

- Experience working on eCommerce Digital projects/programmes in a Technical Project Management role on major Digital Transformation projects at a Consultancy, consumer goods companies or for retailers
- Experience of a variety of methodologies including Agile delivery methods
- Excellent communicator both written and verbally and have proven capability of interfacing with senior leadership teams
- Extensive experience in assessment, onboarding, implementation & tuning of leading On-Prem & SaaS/PaaS platforms
- Previous experience in any leading Cloud infrastructure, platforms is desirable
- Ability to work with and provide guidance to cross functional technical and business teams in implementation of large scale end to end digital programs covering the life-cycle of an eCommerce website ecosystem
