**Key Focus**:
Supervise and manage the build role out program. Ensure the quality of Network built is adhering to company standards that meets JFL’s specification. Manage our Contractors to deliver with in the timelines and build program produced by JFL, setting appropriate deadlines. Checking daily for mapping discrepancies. Collaboratively working with the Lead Contractor Supervisor to support internal and external stakeholders.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with managing and administering the construction works in accordance with the Build Program.
- Assisting with ensuring that the Build Program is maintained.
- Checking compliance with the relevant Quality Plans, Method Statements, Risk Assessments.
- Strive to achieve personal, team and company KPI’s and Objectives in line with the company’s performance incentive payment
- Assisting with the management and control of all site operations including monitoring progress and taking appropriate action to avoid overrun.
- Ensuring appropriate inspection and testing is carried out to verify compliance. Carrying out quality checks and reporting of any non-conformances.
- Carrying out regular audit inspections and reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses.
- Assist with monitoring the performance and operation of contractors. Ensure they are properly instructed in the safe execution of their work and programme requirements.
- Assist with traffic management proposals, road space booking.

- Any ad-hoc duties as directed by the Network Deployment Manager

**Person specifications**:
**Experience**:

- Proficient knowledge of PIA (primarily the Engineering Principles)
- Fibre Network design, construction and/or installation (essential)
- Overhead and underground knowledge of BT (essential)
- Network quality control (QC)
- FFTX service delivery with telecommunications
- Minimum 4 Years’ Construction experience within Telecommunications
- Previous experience at Supervisory level of telecommunication construction (desirable)
- Excellent teamwork and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and work as part of a team
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) skills
- Confident and proficient with technology
- Interest in FTTP would be desirable
- Full valid driving license
- GCSE Maths & English passes

**Qualifications**:

- SA001 Overhead Safety (Desirable)
- SA002 Underground Safety (Desirable)
- O1 Signing, guarding a lighting (Street Works)
- CSCS Card
- NRSWA certificate for operatives ( Mandatory )
- SA008 (N22 or E1, N27) Overhead cable install (Desirable)
- SA009 (O8) PIA Pole Stepping on Congested Pole
- IPAF 1B Static Boom
- Clear understanding of operational delivery in a commercially focused business environment and timely delivery of customer requirements
- Ability to respect and follow safety procedures and to ensure others do so, too
