Multi Drop Delivery Driver

The position involves driving a 3.5 t van around East or North Yorkshire delivering our own dairy products to shops, cafes, hotels, care homes, etc. We have a dairy farm and process and bottle all our own milk which we deliver alongside bread, orange juice and other perishable products. It is an early morning start, (4.30 am) but you will be finished by mid-morning. You will be required to load and unload your own van from delivery sheets, deliver invoices and collect payments. You need to be cheerful and polite to customers, show initiative and have an understanding of our business. You need to be fit and healthy and be able to work outdoors in all weathers. You need to be able to lift and carry crates of milk into customers' premises and where appropriate stock their fridges. Full training will be given. You will be required to undertake basic vehicle maintenance after each run (oil levels, water levels, tyre pressure etc) and keep your van clean and tidy. Further information about hours will be given but it is currently Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday with an occasional Monday to cover holidays as and when required. Our current rate of pay is £12.00 per hour..
