**Overview of Role**
H&M Distribution and International Ltd are actively looking for a part time proficient Quality, Health & Safety (QHS) Assistant to join a friendly team within our Newton Le Willows Depot. As a (QHS) Assistant, you will report directly into the QHS Manager and assist with supporting compliance operations throughout the Business to ensure regulatory and standard requirements are met.
It is essential for this role that you hold strong organisational and communication skills as you will be responsible for carrying out administrative duties, conducting inspections and co-ordinating the establishment of the Quality, Health, and Safety Management Systems. Additionally, experience within a similar field and prior exposure to ISO 9001 and 18001/45001 Standards would be extremely desirable.

**Key Responsibilities.**
To assist with supporting QHS compliance operations throughout the Business, as follows:
- Review, develop, implement, monitor & maintain relevant Policies, Procedures, Risk Assessments, Method Statements.
- Investigate Health and Safety related Incidents, accidents resulting in injury, and safety observations/’See and Acts’.
- Working with Contractors to ensure compliance.
- Preparation of QHS statistical data.
- Responding to queries.
- Communication and implementation of standards and procedures.
- Induction roll-out.
- Liaising with Department Managers to plan and coordinate delivery of training.
- Maintain communication boards.

- Clear communication and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good I.T. skills (E.g., MS Office package).
- Ability and willingness to learn and gain/enhance a skill set.

**Annual Salary**
- £25,000 per annum (pro rata).
**Work Attendance Schedule**
- Part time (3 days per week). Specific working days TBC.
- Within Monday to Friday during the hours of 8am to 5pm.
