The Domestic Abuse Partnership (DAP) is seeking to recruit highly motivated and dynamic individuals to join the team. The aim of the team is to reduce repeat victimisation through enhancing the safety of victims and children by providing a co-ordinated and effective multi-agency response to domestic abuse.

Your primary role will be to provide an effective trauma informed support and advice service to victims referred to the service.

You must have previous experience of direct work with victims affected by domestic abuse or safeguarding adults or children. Demonstrate an ability to work with victims in a trauma informed strengths based, empowering and supportive way. You must have an awareness and understanding of the Duluth power and control methodologies, power differentials and inequalities between men and women and the effects that domestic abuse has on victims and their children. You will need to have effective communication, organisational skills and the ability to work using your own initiative and an informed understanding of safeguarding children and adults is essential.

Working hours cover Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 5.00pm.
