Liverpool, United Kingdom Royal HaskoningDHV Full time

**About Royal HaskoningDHV**:
Royal HaskoningDHV has been connecting people for 140 years. Together, through our expertise and passion, we have helped contribute to a better society and improved people’s lives with work underpinned by our sustainable values and goals. We are an independent international engineering and project management consultancy leading the way in sustainable development and innovation.

Royal HaskoningDHV is an Equal Opportunities Employer. We have the clear goal of driving diversity and inclusion across all dimensions. Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences. We recognise that embracing diversity unlocks innovation and creativity and fosters collaboration. We want our employees to reflect the diversity of our communities and the customers we serve.

**About Our Maritime Team**:
We are home to one of the world’s largest groups of maritime consulting engineers and a leader in port and infrastructure development on multiple continents. We’re helping ports and shipyards realise their digitalisation and automation ambitions, as they face growing pressure to become more streamlined and environmentally conscious. We see immediate opportunities for such ambitions to drive and benefit from significant added value in our clients’ asset lifecycles, in terms of efficiency, ROI, and sustainability.

Our maritime experts understand clients’ economic realities and the need to unlock these opportunities in ways that last. By integrating our deep domain experience, technology, and specialist partners, and working with our clients, we deliver solutions that are smart and robust - from optimising existing terminals and refurbishing or creating new port facilities, to improving operating models and how data is used.

**Role Context**:
Our asset management solutions range from value-driven investment and maintenance plans to strategies for management system improvement and digital twin services for live monitoring and business resilience. Our consultants, engineers, and digital specialists merge their experience of different sectors and regions to create solutions proportionate to our port and shipyard clients’ asset management maturity. Recent successes highlight a growing appreciation for projects that consider an asset management perspective.

**Job Role**:

- Develop and contribute to growth strategies for Royal HaskoningDHV’s dedicated maritime asset management services and resources, from ISO 55000 strategy to inspections and digital tooling.
- Create and deliver products and services for our key markets within ports, shipyards, harbours, defence and offshore wind.
- Identify and develop internal and external opportunities for new maritime asset management projects by proactively engaging with clients, regional business developers and key account managers throughout our global Water & Maritime (W&M) business line.
- Drive the asset management discipline across our business and in doing so mentoring our junior team members. You will engage with other specialists to enhance services such as: inspections, building information modelling (BIM), structural health monitoring (SHM),
- Reviewing maritime clients’ asset management (AM) systems and maturity according to ISO 55000 or other relevant standards or guidance.
- Producing and improving AM policies, frameworks, strategies (SAMPs), and plans (AMPs); supporting Change Management, and setting appropriate KPIs to support strategic or tactical decision-making.
- Asset information management, from hierarchical asset registers and supporting asset handover (e.g.: via BIM) to providing quality information for CMMS and enabling Digital Twin solutions.
- Analysis of condition, performance, and/or cost data; and advising on digital sensors/tools.
- Advising on ways to improve asset or portfolio maintenance, performance, or resilience.

**This role might be right for you if**:

- A degree in a relevant area - engineering, architecture, technical business administration, etc.;
- Between 5-10 years’ experience in asset management for an industrial infrastructure-based organisation, such as ports, railways, airports, transport, oil & gas, heavy manufacturing, automotive, or similar;
- Experience in asset management planning, strategy implementation or development;
- Experience with relevant asset management standards, particularly PAS55 and/or ISO 55000;
- Membership of a relevant professional body, such as IAM, IPM, ICE, IMechE;
- Experience in the maritime sector (preferred but not essential);
- Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills; and
- Communication skills, preferably across international teams.

**What we can offer you**:
Ambitious. Exciting. Lively. Collaborative. Dynamic. That’s how our colleagues describe our company. Want to contribute to enhancing society with your expertise? Be part of an open network where
