You will work in a multi-disciplinary team alongside radiologists, radiographers and aesthetics, to provide high quality care in a busy and demanding environment.

**Main duties of the job**:
The role of the interventional radiology clinical support worker is to provide high quality care to all of our patients and their relatives while they are within the radiology department by using a range of skills.

These include:

- facilitate patient transport to and from the department
- provide therapeutic patient care during interventional procedures
- work closely with the consultant radiologists during certain interventional lists
- stocking up of clinical areas, including stock rotation
- act as a circulating assistant within the angiography suite during interventional procedures

- Experience of working with members of the public or a desire to work in the Health Service
- Understanding of routine work procedures gained through a short induction period and on the job training

- Experience of working within a health or social care environment
- Experience of working within a team

**Qualifications**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Care Certificate either upon appointment or within 12 weeks of commencement
- Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE English and Maths Grade D-G)

**Desirable criteria**:

- NVQ Level 2 in Healthcare or a Level 2 Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship already achieved
