We are currently seeking a talented and experienced **Furniture Designer** to join our team.

In this role, you will be 70% designing and 30% managing all aspects of our woodworking projects, from initial design conception to final installation.

You will collaborate closely with clients, designers, and craftsmen to ensure the successful execution of each project, maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

**Design Studio Opening hours Monday - Friday 7am-4pm.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the design and project management process for bespoke woodworking projects, from concept development to completion.
- Work closely with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and design preferences.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including designers, craftsmen, and installation team, to ensure seamless workflow and collaboration throughout the project.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, address any issues or concerns, and ensure quality control.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates on project status, addressing any questions or concerns, and soliciting feedback to ensure satisfaction.
- Manage project documentation, change orders, and project records - through our project management software, Procore - to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in project management and design, preferably in the woodworking or construction industry.
- Strong design skills and proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, or similar.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to create and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
- Organisational skills and ability to manage multiply projects simultaneously while prioritising task and deadlines.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing project requirement and unforeseen challenges.
- Knowledge of woodworking materials, techniques, and constructions methods is desirable but not essential.
