Medical Receptionist

Due to increasing the size of our team we are looking for a part time Medical Receptionist to join us at The Corbett Medical Practice. This role is at the heart of our daily services and is the face of our patient communications. so strong communication, customer service, organisation, administrative skills and team working are essential.

Main duties:

- managing, directing and prioritising appointment requests
- monitoring flow of patients
- communicating practice processes to patient and providing information packs
- advising and processing payments
- responding to all queries and requests for assistance and chaperoning patients
- directing/signposting patients to partner services
- logging home visit requests
- action ambulance/transport requests
- maintaining reception and patient areas
- greeting and directing visitors and contractors
- scanning and filing correspondence, reports, results to patient records
- processing tasks logged on the clinical system
- processing repeat prescriptions
- preparing and maintaining consulting rooms
- staffing the practice reception desk and telephone
- chaperoning clinical staff on request
- participating in audit and quality improvement initiatives and activity audits

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £10.92 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Droitwich, WR9 7BE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Medical Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
