Key Responsibilities:

- Define, develop and implement non-functional testing strategies, covering areas such as performance, scalability, resilience, security, and usability.
- Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure thorough testing of all non-functional requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and guide testing teams, ensuring efficient execution of testing processes.
- Analyse test results and deliver regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Identify, log, and manage non-functional defects.
- Work with project teams to understand the impact of new development on existing systems.
- Ensure that testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with other teams to continually improve the non-functional testing process.

Skills & Experience:

- Proven experience in a Non-Functional Test Lead role, preferably within the public sector.
- Strong knowledge of non-functional testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with performance, security, usability, and scalability testing.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong experience in using non-functional testing tools.
- ISTQB/ISEB qualifications or similar would be advantageous.
