**General Responsibilities**
- To support and assist the Accounts Manager to facilitate the smooth and efficient control of the accounts function of the company.

**Requirements**:

- To develop a basic understanding of each of the elements of the accounts function as operated by the company and in time understand how they all fit together.
- The software packages that the company uses are Eque2 Construct which integrates with Sage 50 accounts. Sage 50cloud Payroll and People HR
- Attention to detail

**Purchase Ledger Clerk - General duties of the role**

**Admin**
- Weekly backups of Sage, Sage payroll and Eque2
- Calendar for month

**Purchase Ledger**
- Entering purchase invoices onto Eque2 Construct
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Check for any negative balances and action
- Scan all supplier invoices before filing
- Filing all supplier invoices and statements
- File delivery notes
- Make sure all charge card invoices have been received
- Reconcile nominal ledgers

**Payroll/HR**
- Entering employee information onto Sage payroll and People HR
- Send timesheets to recruitment agency - Monday am
- Check for Tax code changes on HMRC website
- Every Monday enter data from People HR to Timesheet
- FPI
- Nest
- Update bonuses, pay increases etc
- Attachments

**Sales Ledger Clerk - General duties of the role**

**Sales Ledger**
- Setup new files as required
- Update Retentions file
- Check for duplicated items - report required

**Debt Chasing**
- Create customer statements
- Sort negative debtors
- GCA - Report required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- STRATFORD-UPON-AVON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
