We are looking for a part-time Student Affairs Coordinator to join our hard-working, friendly team.

This is a fixed term, maternity cover position (of 15 months, approximately).

Start Date: May 15, 2023

End Date: August 14, 2024 _tbc_

Hours: usually 3 days per week, Mon-Fri; some evening and weekend work

Key responsibilities:

- Planning, organising, and sometimes accompanying course-related study trips, day trips and excursions
- Providing welfare advice / pastoral support for students
- Helping plan, promote and deliver a programme of social and cultural events

Essential:

- Minimum 2 years professional experience in a related field
- Efficiency and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- High level of IT literacy
- Track record of working on own initiative
- International outlook / enthusiasm to work with US undergraduates, US and UK faculty
- Existing right to work in the UK

Desirable:

- Sound knowledge of Gmail and Google platforms
- Bachelor’s degree (2:1 or above)
- Experience of event / trip management
- Previous work in international education / travel

**Benefits**:

- Salary of £24,000-£26,000 (pro rata) depending on experience
- 5% salary employer pension contribution
- 40 days (pro rata) paid holiday per year
- Scope for flexibility in hours / days worked, occasional WFH

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 15 months
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
