We are looking for a full-time Student Affairs Assistant to join our hard-working, friendly team.


Start Date: August 12, 2024 tbc


Hours: 5 days per week, Mon-Fri; some evening and weekend work


The Role:

You will be working closely with groups of up to 60 bright, motivated undergraduates studying a rich range of liberal arts subjects – and enjoying an often life-changing experience abroad.


The successful candidate’s primary role will be to assist the Student Affairs Manager in the successful planning, active promotion and delivery of a programme of social and cultural visits and events.


You will also support the ASE Team in all aspects of the Programme’s operations, including ‘front of house’, student welfare and the day-to-day running of our busy study centre.


This is a great ‘starter position’ for anyone interested in the field of international education, and keen to join an organisation which genuinely values creativity, diversity, inclusivity and sustainability.


Skills and Requirements


Essential:

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Passionate interest in travel, the arts and humanities
  • Ability to organise and sometimes lead group activities
  • Effective user of social media platforms
  • Efficient administrator: incl. high level computer literacy
  • Experience of event planning and promotion
  • Undergraduate degree (2:1 or above)
  • Existing right to work in the UK

  • Salary of £23,000 per annum
  • 40 days paid holiday per year

  • Occasional participation in (all-expenses-paid) overnight and day trips to Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, London etc
  • Scope for some remote working between terms
  • 5% salary employer pension contribution
  • Private health care (after 6 months)
