Stock Controller

Job Title**:Stock Controller / Purchaser**

Location**:Saffron Walden**

Salary**:£27,000 - £32,000 Per annum (Depending on Experience)**

Term**:Permanent**

Hours**:Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:45pm**

RecruitAbility is looking for a Stock Controller/Purchaser to join their clients' expanding team. This is an exciting new role with a huge amount of variety. If you have the relevant experience and are looking to expand your knowledge and expertise, thenthis could be the role for you.

**The Role of Stock Controller/Purchaser**:

- Implementation of stock control for common components
- Take responsibility for the purchasing process, to include goods in, quality control, reporting any discrepancies and following up late deliveries etc
- Generate Purchase Orders using Sage 50
- Maintain and strengthen existing supplier relationships, using supplier performance analysis
- Negotiate with key suppliers to ensure the best prices and practices
- Source new suppliers where necessary
- Visit key suppliers and potential new suppliers both in the UK and abroad
- Maintain required stock levels

**To be considered for the role of Stock Controller/Purchaser**:

- A minimum of 2 years in a stock control or purchasing role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- A full UK driving licence
- The flexibility to travel nationally and abroad when necessary

**The Package for Stock Controller/Purchaser**:

- Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 (Depending on experience)
- Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:45pm
- Pension
- 23 days holiday (excluding bank holidays)
