**WHAT TO EXPECT**

From the moment you join us as a Regulatory Requirements Author, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining Engineering Requirements for Global Regulations.

Your passion for Automotive Emerging Technologies will see you thrive in this dynamic, creative, environment, and be supported by The Regulatory Requirements Team, who is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of new and updated regulations into JLR's Product Delivery programmes.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Your tenacity, drive and perseverance will allow you to work with various departments, in order to:

- Ensure regulation deliverables are understood and can be met
- Ensure Compliance considerations are integrated into engineering activities
- Identify approaches for delivering product compliance for future regulations. Support the monitoring of process compliance with Key Process Indicators

**WHAT YOU-LL NEED**

To excel as a Regulatory Requirements Author in this role, you will possess the following essential skills and experience:

- Have knowledge in or an aptitude to learn a selection of Subject Matter Areas, focusing on either Automotive Electrical Systems or New Technologies (e.g. Electric Vehicle Batteries or Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)
- Knowledge of Automotive Electrical System regulations and/or engineering requirements & specifications.
- Interested in and capable of analysing Global Regulations & Regulatory Requirements
- Experience of authoring and / or using regulatory or legal documentation.
- Relevant degree and/or Experience working with Regulatory or Engineering Requirements
