We are a venture backed fast growing food brand based in South Ruislip, London. We’d like your help in getting Julienne Bruno to the **46 million** plant curious people in the UK.

**Job Overview (summary & scope)**

Efficiently and effectively drive compliance adherence by ways of structured and consistent team development, ensuring that factory processes and methods of work are capable and suitable for agreed specifications and our product is safe for consumption.

You will help the company develop a skilled and knowledgeable workforce that can meet key business objectives. You will also lead onboarding procedures for new employees, train employees on new technologies or educate teams on new company's policies and procedures

The coach will come on board to help us expand our reach. We’re a young company with a lot of potential, and we need someone who can help us take our training to the next level.

Your role is paramount to our vision of premium quality and repeat customers, therefore your presence in the production floor needs to take a hands on approach, supportive and can do attitude.

**Role tasks and responsibilities**
- Leading with safety, empower the team, act as an example and drive a culture where safety is everyone’s top priority
- Develop and implement training for the staff
- Coordinate, develop, and participate in ongoing training
- Promote team building by actively participating in staff development
- Provide necessary training and coaching to employees
- Identify areas for improving individual and team performance
- Identify skills gaps and fill them
- Develop presentations, training materials, and handout materials
- Provide training guidance and feedback to others
- Engage on 121 meeting for those requiring closer support
- Take a proactive approach to ensure that individuals receive the most suitable training style according to their needs
- Complete all required reports and sign off documents and maintain all related records
- Communicate skill gaps to direct management and agree future plans to fill
- Perform operational/technical training tasks, such as reviewing and modifying procedures, troubleshooting, and resolving defects
- Perform on-the-job training to ensure new staff is qualified for their jobs
- Mentor new staff in job-specific tasks and processes
- Train new staff in company policies and procedures
- Develop and implement training plans for new hires

**Skills, knowledge and cultural fit**
- Proven experience assisting or developing training materials and standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced FMCG environment
- Level 3 Food safety (an advantage)
- First Aid training (an advantage)
- Fire Marshal (an advantage)
- IOSH qualified (an advantage)
- Good IT skills particularly Word, Excel and Google suite
- Ability to recommend solutions that address critical needs to senior management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as interaction at all levels of the business is required
- Good problem solving skills (RCA), planning and organisational skills

**Expectations**
- Support implementation of quality improvement plan
- Provide regular feedback to the Head of Production with regard to skill gaps
- Ensure that correct version of specifications and documents is used by ways of random checks
- Attend meetings, organise training plans, and score individuals for competence against training cards
- Carry out random competence checks to ensure that our standards do not slide back
- GMP, concession and non-conformance trending.
- Leading indicator & KPI results are testament to high standards and consistent performance across shifts
