**Head of Supply Chain**
Technique Recruitment Solutions are a specialist Engineering & Manufacturing recruitment company based in Norfolk. We are working closely with our prestigious client who have multiple manufacturing sites across Norwich and are looking for a Senior Supply ChainSpecialist to join their team
**Overview**:
The position will lead the strategic development and operational implementation and leadership of the supply chain operations at their main facility
This role will drive and inspire the supply chain organisation in line with the corporate strategy ensuring supply chain best practice and lean principles are at the centre of the business and policies and processes are aligned and complimentary with otherfunctions, including but not limited to, Purchasing, Sales & Marketing, Product Engineering, Programme Management and Launch.
**Scope**:
Development and implementation of the supply chain strategy
Lead Supply Chain operations ensuring best in class SCM processes and operations
Improve supply chain operations and lead implantation of standard procedures and systems.
Ensure sufficient material availability and flexibility in line with build schedules.
Order, maintain and control material flow chains from supplying points
Maintain optimised levels of inventory and keep within agreed financial levels of approved inventory holding
Ensure all program launches meet supply chain deployment deliverables in a timely manner
Source, contract, control and manage all third-party supply chain providers

The Head of Supply Chain will provide leadership across the supply chain function, and will oversee the following departments, each of which have a management structure in place:
Production Planning & Control
Materials Planning
Materials Management
Inbound logistics
Outbound logistics

**Production Planning and Control**
Plan the chain of operations to enable Manufacturing Operations to be executed according to the approved Sales and Operations Plan (S&OP). Lead S&OP cadence and exec approval.
Achieve maximum efficiency and manage variations and risks with internal stakeholders including Sales & Marketing, Programme Management Office (PMO), Engineering and Procurement.
**Materials Planning**
Ensure strategic material planning processes are in place to enable operational and production continuity. Leading and co-ordinating internal and external parties to ensure the supply of materials is in place to satisfy production requirements. Able to deliverefficient, effective and flexible solutions to meet production requirements.
**Materials Management**
Manage and optimise the receipt, put away, storage and picking processes materials at both Lotus onsite Logistics and Operations facilities as well as the performance, processes and integration with Lotus 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) providers. Optimise internallogistics movements to ensure efficient and effective lineside replenishment.
**Inbound Logistics**
Manage, lead and optimise the approach and execution of raw materials and parts brought into Lotus and our 3PL facilities from our global supply base in conjunctions with internal stakeholders and transport providers.
**Outbound Logistics**
Manage, lead and optimise the despatch, collection and delivery cadence and quality, in conjunction with our 3PL partners, of our current and future models.
**Experience**:
Extensive and proven supply chain strategy development and execution leadership experience, in a product-based material processing and manufacturing assembly operation. Automotive not essential.
Experience of business and supply chain transformation.
Practical experience of ERP/MRP, preferred SAP.
Practical experience and knowledge of implementing and optimising Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
3PL contract negotiation and management
Working experience of managing a multi-site warehouse operation and personnel and associated Safety, Health and Environment policies, process and best practice
