**Salary**: £30,000 - £45,000 doe
We are working with a boutique bridging lender in the Cheadle area to appoint a full time permanent bridging underwriter.
The opportunity to join this company in its current phase is very exciting - their investment in internal case management technology is quite impressive. Due to the nature of the company this role will provide an excellent array of professional development.The ability to work across all stages of the customers journey and also be an influential member of the team, working closely to the MD and Team Seniors.
Due to the nature of the role you are required to be available in the office each day however flexibility is available to suit.
Duties will include:
- Build successful working relationships with third parties such as solicitors and valuers
- Understand and assess relevant supporting documentation such as credit reports, valuation reports and financial statements
- Monitor and report any fraudulent activity
- Work within regulatory requirements
You will have:
- Relevant, bridging, commercial or buy-to-let underwriting experience
- Enjoy working in an autonomous environment, as well as working as a team
- Have the ability to make decisions and communicate these clearly
- A confident self-starter
- Excellent numeracy skills
