**About the Project**:
Morgan Sindall Infrastructure has been awarded the civils and construction management contract on the 20 year Programme and Project Partnership framework with Sellafield Ltd.
At the core of the partnership is collaborative working, with the framework being delivered in conjunction with four other organisations.
The overriding aim of the Programme and Project Partnership is to bring together individuals with the right values and behaviours to deliver world class projects on the Sellafield site.
**The Role**:
**Role**
Supporting the Head of Training Management Office and responsible for coordinating and managing the delivery of training and induction courses for new and existing staff across PPP, ensuring there is a consistent and comprehensive approach to training and on-boarding.
**Responsibilities**
- Coordination of the ongoing training demands specific to the PPP Project
- Support the Head of TMO to define and document training policy and process in line with contractual, client and site licence requirements
- Ensuring contract training records are updated in alignment with PPP processes and procedures
- Support collaboration and behavioural training and development
- Manage the new starter contract induction process including any specific contract eLearning requirements. Launching and monitoring completion
- Responsible for ensuring that all contract training records are updated in alignment with agreed PPP processes and systems, including working with training compliance to make sure prescribed competence requirements are met
- Offer ideas for system and process improvement
- Maintain the approved contract training plan, tracking performance to target
- Work with Major Projects and PPP services to identify training requirements, book courses select venues and liaise with chosen venues on price and availability. Raising requisitions and ensure procurement processes are followed
- Understand fully the programmes and courses on offer and work with the Head of TMO and the Communications team to ensure these are promoted and a clear process is in place to book and approve places on training
- Develop an external training policy for agreement by the Management Board
- Ongoing management and monitor employees studying for further/higher qualifications, ensure signed repayment agreements are in place prior to training being approved and the leavers process includes a check for any funds due to be repaid to PPP
- Produce reports and data as required by local business unit and central learning and development function including achievement awards, NVQs, training surveys and other ad-hoc requests as required
- Build strong customer relationships with all staff by being approachable and knowledgeable
- Ensure new suppliers are properly evaluated and selected, taking appropriate advice. Build and continue to build effective supplier relationships
- Be prepared to take additional responsibility to support the department or function
**Accountabilities**
- Ability to understand procedures and policies of the organisation
- Ability to deal effectively with colleague’s, PC literate including Excel, Word and databases with good keyboard skills
- Ability to work well either alone or as part of a team
- Good writing, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Know when to ask for help and guidance
