Transport Planner

Transport planner Temp with opportunity for Perm

DNA Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Transport Planner for our client based in Swinton Manchester. Our client operates a large fleet of vehicles operating on a multi site and multi drop basis

Duties to include
- Working with customers, suppliers and drivers, planning routes and scheduling delivery times
- Prioritise and coordinate workloads
- Liaise with drives and customers in relation to any issues or delays with the deliveries.
- Working with the drivers in relation to infringements and offer training and support in relation to any issues.
- Liaising between managers and drivers, as well as collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of transportation services.
- Planning routes and preparing schedules, tracking and reporting progress with orders.
- Handling customer queries and if necessary escalating serious complaints to management.

Working hours

**Monday - Friday 10:00 - 18:00 or 11:00 to 19:00**
