We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Team Leader within our Operations Team.
**In a nutshell, you will be responsible for**:
Organising the Plaster Shop to ensure production plans and productivity levels are achieved.
**What you are already great at**:
- To ensure all models and moulds are completed to the correct quality finish
- Allocating work to modelling/moulding team in the absence of Supervisor.
- Checking quality of models and mould and returning for re-work when necessary
- Conducting visual checks throughout the day, checking quality, ensuring all information is accurately recorded.
- Resolving ad hoc modelling/moulding issues through liaison with the Casting team.
- Making new models for sinks and block moulds.
- Ordering plaster, raw materials, iron, wood, consumables and ad hoc equipment for use in the Plaster Shop.
- Cutting wood in Joiners’ shop for Plaster shop use.
- Ensuring that housekeeping standards are met at all times, through the daily cleaning of the Plaster Shop
- Ensuring that all operatives commence and finish work on time and that PPE is worn at all times.
- Ensuring that all health and safety procedures are adhered to.

- Has basic departmental equipment knowledge
- Has good communication skills
- Displays a positive attitude and uses initiative in day to day role.
- Is willing to undertake training to develop in role and improve department performance
- Actively supports the continuous improvement process
