My client a well established and reputable membership body is currently looking for a Events Manager.

**The Role of Events Manager**

The Events Manager will lead on all aspects of research, logistics, promotion, implementation, and evaluation of the Association's events programme (excluding training workshops) as well as operational delivery for each of the events.

Events range in size (20 - 1,000 delegates), complexity and format (including online events and face-to-face), including, but not limited to, full day conferences; seminars; workshops; webinars; themed events; focus and interest groups; round tables; roadshows;receptions and executive level dinners / lunches.

**Person Specification** **Essential**

Strong alignment with the Association's principles - Integrity, Intelligence, Approachability, Inspiration and Influence (see below).

Successful track record of creating, project managing and delivering a range of events of varying scale, scope and timelines.

Experience of procuring, negotiating with and managing internal and external suppliers and sponsors including working with venues, designers, AV companies, catering, etc.

Experience of creating event programmes, identifying speakers and other contributors and managing all aspects of speaker relations pre-, during and post-event.

Experience of producing and communicating event project plans and ensuring that all parties involved in event delivery adhere to the plan, meeting all milestones and KPIs.

Demonstrable experience of using digital and offline media to promote events

Demonstrable experience of writing promotional copy

Proficient social media user

Experienced in using Microsoft Office

**Desirable**

Educated to degree level or equivalent

Evidence of commitment to continuous professional development

Demonstrable experience of budget creation, management and reporting

Experienced in using event booking and management software
