Training Instructor

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Training Instructor at Heathrow. Reporting into the Head of Aviation Training, you will be responsible for delivering all aspects of training material required for the PRS (Passengers Requiring Support) contracts in accordance with client and WJ procedures. As a Training Instructor you will ensure company compliance with all relevant airport legislations and regulation.

Within this role, you would be required to participate in creating and updating training material, planning courses, the delivery of all aspects of induction, refresher and safety training. To include manual handling and disability awareness. You would also be required to liaise with the operations to ensure compliance is maintained, carry out observations and On the Job training in a operational environment.

**Other duties include**:

- Deliver training to support the business needs and various Aviation PRS contracts.
- Facilitate wider operational training (to include PDA and Terminal electric vehicles).
- Maintain a solid knowledge of Wilson James's operational practices and procedures.
- Ensure that all aviation PRS procedures, regulated updates, training material and training aids, manuals and other similar documentation are constantly maintained and updated to meet regulated and internal standards.
- Deliver training in partnership with the H&S team to enhance the safety culture within Wilson James.
- Design and deliver training packages that meet the needs of airport service lines.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Training experience within an airport environment. This could include experience gained within an operational, regulatory or consultancy environment.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Flexible approach to a fast-paced environment
- Level 3 Award in Training and Education - or a commitment to gain the qualification.
- Level 3 Manual Handling/People Moving Qualification or a commitment to gain the qualification.
- Commitment to attend Training course delivered by charities such as Autism UK.
- Driving Licence
