**About the Role**

The contracts officer will work closely with the Senior Contracts Officer and Contracts Manager and will lead on the NHS contractual and governance agenda across the whole organisation.

Supporting contractual compliance, the Contracts Officer will collate and compile the necessary commissioned reporting, provide representative support with CHEC’s contract review meetings (CRMs) to discuss contractual performance, quality reports, activity targets and associated assurance for CHEC’s commissioners.

The Contracts Officer will contribute to the continued success and overarching maintenance of CHEC’s existing contracting portfolio and provide seamless support to the wider contracting team for new service mobilisation and on an ongoing basis.

**We are looking for someone who can.**
- Review existing systems and processes, contributing new ideas and maintaining a systematic approach to contractual compliance
- Seek opportunities to improve existing contracting reporting systems
- Support the contracting department in the development of a suite of corporate reports that work cross
- functionally to support improvements in operational delivery and reporting.
- Contribute to internal stakeholders requirements within contractual quality, clinical and corporate governance framework.
- Attend ICB contract meetings as CHEC’s supporting interface, and internal meetings as appropriate.
- Ensure that all contractual reports are completed and submitted within the timetabled submission requirements.

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- Experience of working in a constantly changing environment
- Previous experience in a similar role in a healthcare or public sector setting
- Clinical IT systems knowledge
- Experience of extracting and analysing data to support performance monitoring.
- Experience of contributing to the design and development of data reports
