**Business Development Consultant**

**Location**: North East (Remote - Ideally Located in or around the Yorkshire region)

**Salary**: Negotiable + Car Allowance + Benefits

Hedron are growing and developing their team and looking for an additional Business Development Consultant to join the team to look after a panel of existing brokers and add to it.

The role is designed to support existing brokers with the growth of their business & to ensure they have a full understanding and make best use of the options we offer to help them and their clients via additional products and resources

**On a day-to-day basis you'll be**:

- Building strong relationships with your partner brokers
- Understanding and supporting the growth and objectives of the brokers to ensure the right services, products and support are on offer at all times
- Assist partners in the design and implementation of growth plans and how to manage and also monitor results of them
- Working with partner brokers in a compliant and timely manner on all matters and liaising with key stakeholders (internally and externally) to ensure they are doing the same.
- Ensuring retention levels and income targets are achieved for your panel of brokers
- Working with the Development management team to achieve business objectives and support with the development of colleagues

**Your skills and experience**:

- You'll have a strong understanding of how brokers and networks operate with the ability to influence and manage a panel of varied brokers.
- Working knowledge of Insurance products across Commercial, Personal Lines and Nice areas.
- Your skill set should include strong Communication (both written and verbal), influencing, negotiation, stakeholder management and IT skills coupled with being confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels particularly board level.
- Ideally you'll also be well versed in broking platforms (Acturis experience would be highly desirable)
- You'll also need a full driving licence for this role due to the nature of a number of the brokers on the panel not being covered by public transport
