**We are currently recruiting to our Supported Living Service **

Caring and reliable **Community Support Worker's **to work within the **Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Domiciliary Service **in **Adult Social Care **at **Lancashire County Council **.

We are looking for cheerful and positive individuals who would like to make a difference to the people we support, to come and join our team. Our Supported Living Service requires multiple Community Support Workers to join us in making a substantial difference to the lives of the people we support within our Adult Disability Service.

You will be welcomed into people's homes and make their day to day routine something to look forward to with your upbeat attitude and friendly persona. It is not essential that you have a background in Health and Social Care, you just need to have a good heart and a caring nature. We provide all the required training to ensure you get the most from your role, with qualifications on offer it's a great opportunity to progress in this service and turn it into a career to be proud of

We have various posts on offer which vary from 16 hours a week to 37 hours a week on offer which may include some sleep-in's and will involve some weekend working. You may just prefer to work evenings and weekends only, if so we may be able to accommodate this.

**Empathy & Resilience **- you will have an understanding of the challenges the people we support deal with which means an empathic nature is of upmost importance - you will need bags of motivation and be able to keep going even on the more difficult days - the needs of our service users can be complex and you may face challenging behaviour but your determination and dedication to excellent care will make it feel easy - it is essential that you are able to communicate clearly and effectively with every individual providing reassurance and positivity.
