We are one GP practice working across two sites in Frimley Green and Ash Vale, providing care for a population of around 29,000 patients. Situated around the Surrey Hills, we are an ever-growing and evolving practice looking to provide a great opportunity for a couple of Receptionists to join our friendly, hardworking team.

**Job Details - Responsibilities and Duties**:
We have two **part-time positions** available. We are open between the hours of 08:00 - 20:00.

**The shifts for 1st 15 hours will be**:
Monday 08:00 - 12:30

Thursday 12:30 - 17:00

Friday 12:30 - 18:30

**The shifts for 2nd 15 hours will be**:
Wednesday 08:00 - 12:30

Thursday 12:30 - 18:30

Friday 12:30 - 17:00

Applicants will need to be flexible for extra covering hours Monday - Friday for annual leave and sickness.

You **must** supply a CV and Covering Letter and complete the skills assessment.

**You will**:

- Report to the Patient Services Managers and be the first port of call for our patients.
- Assist in the booking of appointments, taking phone calls and dealing with patients face-to-face.
- Answer general, non-clinical queries from patients and direct them to the most appropriate care available.
- Undertake any other additional duties appropriate to the post as requested by your line manager / practice managers.
- Be expected to be flexible and cover annual leave and sickness.
- Work as part of a team to provide the best care possible for our patients.
- Be able to work across both of our sites in Frimley Green and Ash Vale.

**Skills/Qualities**

We are looking for an individual who is; hardworking and confident with patient interaction face-to-face as well as with a good manner on the telephone, has good time-keeping skills, able to work well under pressure, is well presented and portrays the practice to the highest possible professional standard.

You must have experience working with the general public and be cheerful, polite, good at multi-tasking and a team player.

A good range of computer skills is essential. EMIS system knowledge is preferable, however not essential as training will be provided to the right person.

Two years customer service experience is preferred.

English to a good standard is required.

Computer skills to a good standard is required.

WTE: Starting at £21,196.50 (WTE 37.5 hours a week).

Uniformed blouse is provided.
