**Why choose MoralCare?**
We look after our staff as well as our service users. We ensure our team can have a work/life balance and follow the same 2 weekly shift schedule, so they know they can put their feet up and relax when they need to We have no hidden catches, and have extremely competitive wages, paid mileage and travel time (**with no silly catches**), a positive work culture, a friendly team AND an outstanding reward points program where staff can earn them selves fully funded treats such as hotel stays, manicures and even helicopter rides We ensure all team members have a minimum hour guarantee in their contracts and are never have to worry.

Tasks are variable; including medication administration, medication ordering and management, emotional support, keeping environments safe, assessing needs, personal care, washing/bathing, preparing or supporting to eat meals, liaising with GP's/ pharmacies/ nurses/families and other professionals, providing dementia care, Parkinson's care, end of life care and most importantly bringing a smile and making a huge difference to people lives to clients that are grateful just to see you.

We will also help you claim an additional 25p per mile back from your PAYE contributions each tax year Our rate covers petrol cost for most standard cars - the additional 20p per mile from HMRC supports tax payers to claim for any wear and tear on your vehicle. (This usually gets our team on a nice low tax rate or even better, a juicy annual cheque from HMRC)
**Travel**
All of our service users are all based in Morecambe - though we plan to expand further a field in the distant future. All home visits are scheduled as close to each other as possible, 2 miles is our average distance between jobs. We have an app that calculates your mileage between jobs accurately. You haven't got to worry about clock watching or mileage submission.

- Excellent pay and outstanding reputation with our staff and clients
- Outstanding reward scheme (exclusive to MoralCare)
- Have full support from your friendly manager and senior
- Paid meetings.
- We cover the cost of qualifications, uniform and enhanced DBS checks.
- Employee of the month
- Pension
- 5.6 weeks annual leave
**Why is this a crucial role?**
Without community carers the NHS crumbles. Abuse goes unnoticed, people have more falls an injury with no support, peoples mental health plummets because they have no one to speak to. People bed block in hospital because there are no care packages to discharge them safely to their home where they long to be. You are needed to make a difference and the misconception that carers are brew makers must change We change lives MoralCare is making a difference to the sector, but we need your support to do it
- **Lets play MYTHBUSTERS**_
- **DID YOU KNOW? The average daily work commute in the North West is 20 miles? Our community carers travel only 10 miles per shift. Our carers are paid for all miles they cover, PLUS we pay them for their travelling TIME whilst they drive to their next job - that means getting paid to bop away to some music or make a hands-free personal call. One of the many MoralCare perks**_
- **MYTH: Care work is a low paid and unappreciated job.**_
- **BUSTED: We pay £11.10ph + mileage We work on the front line with our team and make sure staff satisfaction is one of our main priorities. Managers and our services users appreciate the front line to no end - including the public One of our carers had a chocolate bar left on their windscreens by a member of public to thank them for their service.**_
- **MYTH: I'll have a different rota every week. I won't be able to plan my life around it.**_
- **BUSTED: We have a CONTRACTED shift schedule so carers know
