Are you a focussed, capable, and experienced Finance Assistant seeking work within a prestigious educational environment?

Working as part of a small Finance team, you will be responsible for all transactional accounting relating to accounts receivable activities.

**Temporary Finance Assistant Responsibilities**
- Coding of supplier invoices and uploading copies to the accountancy system
- Ensuring supplier records are accurate and kept up to date
- Obtaining relevant authority for payments
- Processing electronic supplier payments and issuing remittance advices
- Reviewing supplier statements, dealing with suppliers’ queries, and filing all paperwork electronically in a tidy and logical manner
- Maintaining accurate records of the utilities’ costs for numerous sites
- Ensuring partial recovery of input VAT is calculated and recorded correctly

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ideally you will have prior experience using Sage200
- Good understanding and experience of accounting principles, internal controls and common accounting procedures
- Strong MS Office skills, in particular Excel
- Experience of electronic banking

**Location**

Based in central Oxford, OX1, there is no onsite parking however excellent public transport links and local amenities.
