£23,871 per annum

Yarl’s Wood IRC (Immigration Removal Centre) is a fully contained residential centre housing adult women and adult family groups awaiting immigration clearance. We focus on decency and respect in all aspects of care for our residents and use continuous innovation to further improve and develop our service. Within the centre we accommodate an everchanging population from a variety of backgrounds, all with different faiths, beliefs, and cultural values.

We are looking for a Stores Officer to join our team.

The key accountabilities of the role is to observe all statutory health and hygiene regulations and reporting any hazards you may encounter in your work place. You will escort deliveries into and out of the centre, check deliveries against purchase orders and highlight issues and action the return of goods with Suppliers and maintain accurate records. Furthermore, the successful post holder will deal with stock invoices, monitor stock movement within Stores and maintain COSHH Data Sheets for items within the Centre Store. You will work closely with the finance team to review stock and adhere to limit controls.

**What you need to do the job**:
This is an opportunity for an individual who is willing to learn and take instructions. They must have excellent customer service skills. It is important that they have good written and verbal communication skills along with good interpersonal skills. It is important that they can work well independently as well as part of a Team working skills
