- We currently have an opportunity for an _Environmental Health and Safety Advisor._
- _
- To assist the Health, Safety, Environment and Energy Manager with environmental management and health and safety activities across the site, ensuring legal compliance, increasing staff awareness, undertaking improvement projects and management of accreditations. _

About you
- Experience in the following areas is required:_
- _Environmental Management Diploma / IEMA Certificate in environmental management or equivalent qualification and experience_
- _Assisting in maintaining Health Safety and Environmental legal compliance updating and managing procedures, system, and legal registers_
- _Facilitate the ISO 14001 accreditation, ESOS, CCA, CCL, EUETS, WISE, Packaging Waste, EA Permitting etc._
- _Co-ordinating the activities for maintaining the company’s ISO14001 accreditation and maintaining records in the Environmental Management System_
- _Assisting the site energy targets/_W_astewater Treatment Plant etc. _
- _Liaising with the local government agencies and authorities, auditing with both internal and external bodies_
- _Assisting HSE compliance through Legal compliance register_
- _Delivering training on health, safety, and environmental topics and to write training material_
- _Raising awareness of health, safety, environment, and energy matters by using visual media, campaigns, toolbox talks etc._
- _Ability to work in international environments_
- _Strong communication skills_
- _Ability to manage critical situations_
- _Proven ability to support the delivery of tasks in a highly regulated manufacturing environment_
- _Fluency in written and verbal English_
- _Numerical ability to record, interpret and analyse key process data_
- _Strong logical and clear-thinking individual_
- _Strong self-discipline and a structured approach_
- _Embodies ‘safety first culture’ with full and thorough commitment to continuous improvement_
- _Strong support for high quality and hygiene standards_
