You will take responsibility and ownership for the provision of administrative support and reporting requirements for the Network Performance Manager, Network and Customer managers and wider team. Supporting the teams in their achievement of regulatory, financial, customer and key business performance targets. You'll need to maintain regular contact with a range of business support functions so the ability to develop close working relationships is essential. You'll have a wide variety and a broad range of duties so planning and organisation will play a key part in your day to day activities.

**Job Accountabilities**:
You'll be responsible for a variety of Health and Safety tasks which include acting as a Health and Safety administration focal lead, ensuring that the statutory obligations for training and record keeping are completed. You'll also provide support for all local Health and Safety requirements including co-ordination of briefings, training, record-keeping and reporting as well as ensuring currency and validity of all Health and Safety documentation, records and notice boards. You'll also be responsible for:

- Assisting new starters with access to company systems and processes. Ordering, monitoring and recording Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), tools, equipment, mobile phones on behalf of managers and devices for field teams as well as stationary and office materials.
- Supporting the administration of the AIRLine system, e.g. action monitoring, completion of actions in the system on behalf of the manager.
- Organising type 1 and 3 inspections for sites on behalf of the manager.
- Acting as training co-ordinator for the area, with responsibility for maintaining training records and ensuring course attendance. To be the first point of contact for course invitations or joining instructions.
- Administering appropriate purchasing requirements using either a Purchase Card or SAP procurement systems.
- Raising SAP orders and cheque requests on behalf of the managers.
- Investigating and where possible resolving discrepancies or problems with purchase orders, suppliers, and manage payment requests.
- Administration of notice boards.
- Changing diary dates both internally and externally, changing priorities.
- Decisions without upward reference will be taken on a regular basis based on guidelines set out by the manager.

**Knowledge and Skills**:
To be considered for this role you will need to be educated to GCSE level or equivalent and have excellent keyboard skills and exceptional organisation and planning skills. You'll also need:

- Working knowledge of the SAP purchasing system
- Understanding of UU Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to form productive working relationships across a variety of teams.
- Ability to take the initiative and be pro-active.
