**Position Summary**:
The Project Controller is assessing contractual, legal and business risks in co-operation with the legal team and negotiates terms. He or she tracks variations and negotiates contract adjustments if required. The CM is solving commercial issues that may arise.

The Project Controller is responsible for the financial management of projects. The PC develops strategic top-level financial plans including key financial analysis, evaluation and forecasting.

The PC is driving efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable, profitable and that they are delivered on budget. The Project Controller has input on advising on pricing for commercial contracts. He or she analyses sales and other reports / statistics the give insights into how the company can make adjustments to improve performance.

The PC maintains relationships with current clients to keep business growth opportunities in the pipeline.

**Key areas of responsibilities - Project Specific Duties**:

- Resolving contractual and commercial problems which mainly arise around project contractual variations and / or supplier quality or timing shortfalls. Resolving such issues usually require strong verbal and written negotiation skills.
- Commercial risk assessments. Assessing potential business partners and new clients from a risk management point and liaising with the financial and legal teams to obtain additional background information which could help to mitigate risks. Ensuring that the financial aspects and impact of a contract are clear to all parties.
- Working with internal Gantt charts and systems to plan and monitor the financial performance of projects in co-operation with the Project Management team, issue top line reports to stakeholders and flag adjustment requirements where necessary to ensure on-point, scheduled delivery of projects.
- Discovering areas that are not conform with regulation practices.
- Ensuring that all stakeholders understand and adhere to contractual obligations.
- Ensuring that the financial aspects and impact of a contract are clear to all parties.

- Experience in the middle east

**Salary**: £45,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
