As an Estates Work Officer, you will support the Head of Property Investment to deliver and maintain an effective, efficient, and sustainable estates portfolio supporting the financial needs of corporate and operational business functions.

The role holder will act in an ‘intelligent client’ role to provide administrative and project support to Projects Managers in relation to small and medium sized works projects.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Support the Head of Property Investment in the delivery of the Estates Strategy and Estates Team Plan by supporting the delivery of small and medium sized projects and reactive works required to maintain a ‘fit for purpose’ Estate.
- Ensure compliance with DVSA financial, procurement and contract management policies and procedures when commissioning works by Specialist Service Partners support services.
- Provide a challenge to expenditure requests from internal stakeholders to ensure value for money, legislative compliance and DVSA policy decisions.
- Identify issues for escalation within the Property Investment Team and provide recommendations for solution.

**About you**
We are looking for someone with a working knowledge of administration support functions including finance and project delivery, along with experience of working with financial records and reporting on spend.

You will have significant practical experience of Microsoft Excel/Teams and its functions and capabilities.

Your excellent communication skills mean you can relay information confidently to a varied audience, including senior colleagues and stakeholders.
