Manufacturing Quality Lead
Role summary:
To be the primary manufacturing engineering point of contact with designated customers, providing accurate review of supplier performance data and quick response to any customer enquiries, by the co-ordination of task within Incora.
To lead the zero defects programme within the Supplier Quality function.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Key accountabilities:

- To build effective working relationship with designated customers, to understand

specific customer needs and expectations.
- To lead zero defects programme to deliver improved performance to customers and to Incora.
- Improve RFT supplier submission of FAIR’s, Source Change, Concessions and DAR’s
- Travel on company business where necessary to ‘trouble shoot’ technical issues or support supplier issues
- Participation in improvement activities at department / company level to enhance business performance.
- Comply with all relevant internal rules, policies and procedures, including those relating to Health and Safety, Data Protection and all those contained within the issued Employee Handbook and Policies and Procedures Manual.
- Undertake other duties and tasks that may be allocated that are appropriate to the job

Education / Qualifications / Training:

- HND / HNC or (NVQ 3 with relevant experience) in mechanical, manufacturing, process or materials engineering
- Engineering Degree or equivalent
- Trained (Level 1,2) in Dimensional Measurement, Geometrical tolerancing, Material /Process/Manufacturing specific topics (via NPL, AMRC, MTC or equivalent)
- Auditor qualified

Specific Experience:

- Knowledge and experience of AS13000 (Problem Solving), AS13003 (MSA), AS13004 (PFMEA), AS9102 (First Article Inspection)
- Experience of leading continuous improvement activities
- People management experience

Abilities, Skills and Knowledge:

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
- Good presentation skills
- Strong influencing and relationship building skills
