Summary We’re looking for a Holidays Operation Assistant Manager to assist the Holidays Manager in the efficient delivery of their Holidays portfolio.

You’ll be part of the Holidays Team based at the busy Currendon Farm Office, near Swanage, which is shared with other teams who work in the Purbeck area. No two days will be the same. Your days will be busy, dynamic, and demanding with a mix of office workand cottage site visits.**The hours**: 37.5 per week.

You'll need to ensure that cover is provided across six days of the week, and you'll usually work two Saturdays each month. What you'll be doing As Holidays Operation Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for 19 unique holiday cottages located across Purbeck, Brownsea Island and the Kingston Lacy estate. You will report to the Holiday Operations Manager and ensure that the team meets the highstandards expected from our guests, and that our historic and unique cottages are cared for to the ultimate standard.Daily you will work alongside your colleague dealing with guest incidents and ensuring that they are resolved swiftly and efficiently; completing health and safety compliance checks/reports; managing reactive repairs, planning maintenance, and checking thatcontractors deliver on schedule to a high standard; and ensuring that the guests are delighted with their stay.

You will be responsible for a team of 15 part time Holiday Operation Assistants, enabling them to deliver the high standards of housekeeping outlined in the National Trust Holidays Toolkit, the full time Team Leader and the 2 part time gardening staff.

Who we're looking for We'd love to hear from you if you have:

- Great organisation and daily prioritising skills.
- Effective scheduling to ensure completion of regular health and safety compliance checks and surveys.
- Able to use IT systems, such as Excel, for effective record keeping.
- Able to work in an office environment and out on location.
- Confident taking ownership of projects and finishing.
- Some supervisory experience, and good people management skills, working efficiently with the strengths of the existing team.
- Able to multi-task and work to deadlines, providing support so the team goals are achieved.
- A problem solver, your approach will be proactive rather than reactive, able to stay calm and resilient when faced with challenges.
