Van Driver - Job Description

An opportunity has arisen to join a well-established independent electrical wholesaler with 8 branches located across Sussex and Kent.

We are looking for a Van Driver / Stores Assistant to be a part of our branch based in Rochester, Kent.

Your role will be to ensure customers receive a great first impression with your excellent customer service and communication skills whilst delivering and working in the branch environment.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

- Delivering materials to various locations across London & the Southeast.
- Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
- Booking goods in / out

Further internal training will be provided to progress to:

- Serving customers over the trade counter
- Answering customer queries over the telephone
- Picking orders from the warehouse

Previous electrical wholesale experience preferred but not essential.

A Full Clean UK driving licence is essential for this role.

Working hours: 7:30am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday, however you may be required to start earlier some days (time off in lieu will be offered).

This role may become permanent after a 3 month probationary period.

Salary listed is for age 21+

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,769.60 per year

- delivery driver: 1 year (preferred)
- driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
