Accounts Assistant

**About Our Client**:
Our client is a mid-sized business services company based in Sidcup. With a steady and dedicated workforce, they offer superior quality cleaning and support services across a range of business sectors.
- Oversee routine department activities, such as disbursing cheques and processing payroll, to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate and complete financial, employee, and client records.
- Calculate taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure that payments are made on time.
- Network with colleagues in other departments to ensure smooth business operations.
- Review financial paperwork and procedures and recommend changes to improve efficiency.
- Develop and maintain a filing system for all financial documents.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial files.

**The Successful Applicant**:
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software systems.
- An understanding of finance regulations and legislation.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
