**To be successful you will need**:

- _demonstrable working knowledge of the Local Government Finance Act 1992,_
- _knowledge of the Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act,_
- _recent proven practical experience of working within a Revenues department of a local authority or similar environment,_
- _proven practical experience of dealing with members of the public,_
- _computer literacy e.g. use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, Outlook,_
- _the ability to organise tasks and duties effectively,_
- _the ability to work on own initiative, displaying tact and discretion at all times,_
- _the ability to work efficiently and effectively, both as a member of a team and independently,_
- _the ability to analyse situations and make decisions,_
- _good communication skills to explain complex issues,_
- _the ability to demonstrate strong customer focus and a commitment to service improvements._
