Head of Legal French Speaking

An experienced Head of Legal is sought to become part of a fast-growing IT consultancy firm based in London. The standalone role would support the organisation during its expansion and evolvement, looking at a varied set of tasks across France, London, Spainand other EU territories.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts
- Managing and monitoring the acquisition process in the different countries
- Monitoring and improving the Compliance and Governance framework, policies and procedure, including EU data protection and GDPR
- Liaise with external partners and lawyers, managing disputes and litigations
- Other duties as required

**About you**:
The Head of Legal would have gained extensive experience in most legal aspects and would be comfortable in guiding and setting policies and procedure that will drive and support the organisation in its growth, including European law, international taxationand in-depth knowledge of LLP. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-growing international organisation with the ability to build and shape the legal department.

**Profile**:

- Fluency in French and English, written and spoken, is essential for the role
- An additional European language would be desirable, but not essential
- Previous experience as Head of Legal, Head of Legal Counsel or Legal Director
- In depth
- knowledge of LLP and international taxation is a must for the role
- Experience working in an international organisation, with ideally a focus on EU
- Strong professional judgment, with the ability to anticipate problems and assess potential implications
- A degree in law is essential, and qualifications as barrister/solicitor would be a great advantage
- Strong project management skills
- A team player, with a strong can-do attitude
