Senior Benefits Specialist

For our site in Manchester, act as the UK and EMEA expert on benefits and pensions, educating and training HRBPs, Managers and employees, and managing broker and vendors as well as coordinate and administer the global Lonza benefits programs such as recognition and EAP.
**Key **responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the development and implementation of UK-wide benefits and pension programs and policies, including stakeholder management and assessment of any harmonization required
- Manage relationships with new and existing suppliers for benefits, pensions and well-being
- Responsible for ensuring the benefits comply with statutory and regulatory requirements, such as minimum wages and tax
- Use your knowledge and experience to improve the administration of EMEA company cars, support & implement design changes of current policy
- Conduct research to ensure the company positioning is competitive and provide recommendations to Regional Total Rewards, and key stakeholders on any required changes
- Use your knowledge and experience to improve compensation, benefits and well-being programs including implementation of policies, technology tools and enhanced communications within EMEA, managing within budget
- Support the delivery of new projects with the support from HR Operations and Total Rewards
- Manage annual benefit renewals in the UK, acting in accordance with global pooling guidelines
- Liaise with Payroll, Finance, HR and Total Rewards on cost, tax, budget implications and required HMRC reporting (P11d, PSA etc), including setting up appropriate Purchase Orders and managing invoicing
- Escalation point to support HR Administration team with complex pension and benefits questions and issues, ensuring members queries are resolved in a timely manner
- Assist processing of risk benefit claims
- Design, write and provide appropriate benefits & wellbeing communications, trainings for HR and managers/employees in alignment with global guidelines
- Support Total Rewards with development of global benefits data gathering of existing programs and implementation of global programs
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Key **requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business school, labor legislation, human resources, labor psychology; Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Finance
- Fluent in English, any other language is an advantage
- Advanced experience with corporate matrix structures
- Advanced experience in Total Rewards topics, Payroll, UK Benefits
