Solution 47 Recruitment have a position for a Supplier Coordinator to join our client in Saffron Walden working Monday to Friday
This is a great opportunity to work in a creative and proactive team environment.
The role is a 37.5 working hour week, between the hours of 8:30am and 5pm and Monday-Friday.
Our client 0ffers 20 days holiday to start along with potential to increase to 24 with every years service.
**Critical relationships**: with Contracting/Purchasing Team, Corporate Team, Customer Service Centre, Accounts, IT and Health and Safety Consultant.
**Skills Required**:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

**Job Objectives**
- To ensure that all experiences are contracted with suppliers.
- To manage and further develop relationships with existing suppliers.
- To maintain the product and supplier database.
- To resolve day-to-day issues arising from the Customer Service Centre and suppliers.
**Specific Responsibilities**
- To ensure that all information for our experiences is on the product database and maintained accurately on a regular basis.
- To ensure that all information for the supplier is accurately maintained on the database.
- To create and send contracts to new and existing suppliers.
- To ensure that new products are approved in a timely manner by ensuring that all supplier paperwork is sent, returned and processed accordingly.
- Account manage our top suppliers (by volume) through regular contact, yearly meetings, and by ensuring that contracts and product information are kept up-to-date.
- Organise meetings and visits with suppliers as and when required.
- Assist with the co-ordination of yearly retail artwork production - to include checking supplier images and copy.
- To be aware of supplier problems as they arise and deal with them effectively and efficiently and ensure all necessary personnel are informed.
- To refer any approaches from potential suppliers, or existing suppliers with regards to new products and promotions, to the Contracting/Purchasing Team.
- Approve new products, updating relevant personnel.
- Discontinue products when necessary and update relevant personnel.
- Negotiate and process supplier price increase requests.
- To organise and oversee site visits conducted by LincSafe (H&S Consultant).
- To assist the Contracting Team with code creation for new experiences and promotions.
